Our congratulations to Governor-Elect Abigail Spanberger, Lieutenant Governor-Elect Ghazala Hashmi, Attorney General-Elect Jay Jones, our entire Fairfax County House of Delegates caucus, and the Virginia House Democratic Caucus! A new chapter of success unfolds with the phenomenal achievements on Tuesday.
In a remarkable show of support, Governor-Elect Spanberger's 319,315 total votes [[link removed]] exceeded former Governor Terry McAuliffe's 2021 total votes [[link removed]] by more than 34,000. Here's to an exciting journey ahead, but let's savor this moment this week!

This year’s fundraiser will feature Manny Oliver, the father of Joaquin “Guac” Oliver, who was murdered when he was 17-years-old at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Safer Country will be presenting Manny with its Courage award. Created and donated by Gold Works in Old Town, Alexandria. Safer Country will also be honoring three special Virginians:
