When we file our FEC fundraising reports, one of the most important things that our opponents look at is how many supporters we have.
And, because I don’t take corporate PAC money, individual contributions are what matters in this campaign. To show that we have a strong campaign, we need to show that we have lots of grassroots supporters on board.

Friend, I know I ask a lot. Our race in Pennsylvania’s 7th district is going to be one of the closest in the entire country this year, so I’m really counting on grassroots support to win.
Our Republican opponent is relying on big money to win. Her campaign’s biggest contributor is her own multi-million dollar bank account, and she’s going to get lots of support from dark money Super PACs as well.
