Holland High School invites veterans, families, and community members to join in a long-standing tradition of honor and remembrance at the 88th Annual Veterans Day Assembly, taking place Tuesday, November 11, at 10:35 a.m. The event will take place inside the Dome at Holland High School located at 600 Van Raalte Ave, Holland, MI 49423.
This annual program celebrates the dedication, loyalty, and service of those who have worn our nation’s uniform and offers the community an opportunity to come together in gratitude and reflection. Following the assembly, veterans and their family members are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch in the Performing Arts Center lobby.

West Ottawa North High School invites all local veterans to a special Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 3685 Butternut Drive in Holland.
The morning will begin with a continental breakfast at 8:15 a.m., followed by an assembly at 8:45 a.m. featuring musical performances by the West Ottawa High School Choir and Band and recognition of local veterans.
At 9:30 a.m., attendees are invited to join a parade to the West Ottawa Middle School Campus immediately following the program.

All veterans are invited to join the Henry Walters VFW Auxiliary #2144 for a free Veterans Day Luncheon on Tuesday, November 11, at 12:00 p.m. at VFW Post 2144, located at 175 W 8th Street in Holland.
The luncheon, catered by Comfort Keepers and Beechwood Grill, offers a warm meal and a welcoming space for veterans to connect, share stories, and celebrate the spirit of camaraderie.

Grand Valley State University invites all veteran students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend its annual Veterans Day Luncheon on Tuesday, November 11, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Loosemore Auditorium on GVSU’s Pew Campus located at 401 W Fulton St, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
Traditionally held in Allendale, this year’s luncheon moves to Grand Rapids, offering a new opportunity to connect with the university’s nearly 1,000 military-connected students. The event will feature remarks from university leadership and local veterans, providing a meaningful space to honor the service and sacrifice of those who have served.

The Holland American Legion Band invites the community to a free Veterans Day Concert on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 7:30–8:30 p.m. at Central Wesleyan Church (Chapel), 446 West 40th Street, Holland, MI 49423.
There is ample free parking on site. Please use entrances D, F, or G for the easiest access.

In recognition of Veterans Day, Tommy’s Express Car Wash is proud to announce that on Monday, November 11, all veterans and active-duty military personnel will receive a free car wash in appreciation of their service.
What makes this even more meaningful is that Tommy’s story began right here in Ottawa County, where its first locations were built before expanding into a national franchise.
