Trump hoped to be celebrating today.

He wanted to flip the New Jersey governor’s mansion. He wanted California’s redistricting measure to fail.

He wanted Democrats to lose their seats on Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court.

But thanks to you, none of that happened.

Instead, Democrats won and performed all over the country. Here’s how we did it:

- In Virginia, we invested $3.2 million into electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
- In New Jersey, we invested another $3.2 million into the Democratic coordinated campaign, more than double the DNC’s prior investments.
- In Pennsylvania, we invested six figures into electing Democrats up and down the ballot and were heavily involved in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention races.
- In California, we launched a bilingual volunteer recruitment campaign to direct Spanish-speaking volunteers to knock on doors and call voters in support of Proposition 50, the Election Rigging Response Act.
- And even in traditionally red states like Mississippi, we invested six figures into winning legislative seats.

The DNC is the organization best positioned to strategically distribute resources where and when they’re needed most to help elect Democrats at all levels. Last night, we saw the impact of that work.

Now, our focus turns to taking back Congress in the midterms. But to do that, we have to get to work now.
