Food insecurity has already increased about 64% over the past two years, with food banks struggling to fill the gap.

Now, 472,000 Illinoisans – working parents, people with disabilities, veterans, low-income students, seniors, KIDS – are about to lose their SNAP benefits.

This is a perfect storm of cruelty and greed. Compassionate people will need to fill the void left by this president and his pawns on Capitol Hill.

Food banks are the first line of defense against hunger in our community, and right now, they desperately need our support.

The Northern Illinois Food Bank (NIFB) network includes over 900 agencies and program sites and serves over half a million people across 13 counties. I'm asking you to join their mission to feed families across our community.
