Last night, the people of Virginia carved out a new historic path. We pointed our compass in a direction that guides us to the future while also building on the roots of our collective embrace of decency, dignity, and dedication.
Virginia has chosen leadership that lifts people up instead of tearing them down. Together, we have proven that — in Virginia — a child’s name, a family’s personal struggles, and a community’s identity are not barriers to belonging.

This victorious campaign was fueled by unprecedented grassroots support. And I can’t thank you enough for helping to deliver this victory.
