Friends,

A new study proves that strict voter ID laws suppress votes from Americans of color -- and could swing the election toward Donald Trump.

The study, published by the Western Political Science Association, finds that people of color are disproportionately kept from the ballot box by voter ID laws in states like Alabama, Mississippi, and Wisconsin.

Donald Trump only won Wisconsin by 0.77% in 2016. It was the so-called “tipping point state” of the election -- and could be again this year.

We can’t allow Trump to use targeted minority voter suppression to score another term. But if we don’t act now, that could be exactly what happens in November. So tell us, before it’s too late:

Should Congress act now to protect voters of color?

YES   NO
