Thanks to Trump and his Republican puppets, 42 million people across the country are going to have to make do with only partial SNAP payments from the federal government.

Angela knows exactly what it’s like to grow up in a family that’s barely surviving. After Angela’s father was deported, her mother was left alone to raise her and her 3 sisters. At times they were forced to live out of their mom’s car.

Trump will say that this is about “handouts” and is blaming this on the “Radical Left”...

The truth is that Trump is leaving everyday hardworking people who depend on SNAP out to dry. Millions of people will have to skip a meal, pick up another shift, or go hungry. 

Trump could end the government shutdown right now, but instead he’d rather millions more people lose their healthcare coverage. Instead of investing in healthcare or SNAP, Trump will instead give billions to ICE and the military, that’s where his priorities lie. 

We need leaders who will fight back against Trump and protect our communities. It’s our neighbors, friends, and families who are hurt by Trump’s policies.
