Team,
By every indication, Democrats had an incredible night last night. Here are some highlights:
* Abigail Spanberger won the Virginia governor’s race by 15 points, in one of the best Democratic showings statewide in recent history.
* Mikie Sherrill won the New Jersey governor’s race by 13 points, defeating a Trump-aligned billionaire.
* Proposition 50 passed in California, giving the state the authority from the people to redraw its congressional maps to combat Texas eliminating 5 Democratic seats
* Kansas voters rejected a ballot initiative to redraw their own congressional maps
* A Democratic Socialist and immigrant won the New York City mayor’s race against
* Democrats flipped 2 seats on the Georgia Public Service Commission, marking the first time Democrats have won a statewide constitutional office in Georgia since 2006.
All of these victories make one thing clear: voters HATE Donald Trump, and they’re prepared to make that known in the ballot box.
One year from now is the 2026 midterms, and we must capitalize on the momentum and energy from last night if we want these victories to carry over to 2026. Would you invest in us right now to support our effort to support Democrats at all levels? [[link removed]]
