Herbert – ICE continues to act with impunity and wreak havoc across America.

We’re seeing the impact firsthand here in Chicago. 

Mass arrests. Communities living in fear. Masked agents violently arresting protesters. Tear gas deployed in neighborhoods. Schools forced to lock down to protect their students.

ICE cannot be allowed to act with impunity and terrorize our communities. It's time for the madness to stop.

Illinoisans have bravely stepped up to defend our neighbors and peacefully protest to demand our basic rights be respected. 

We’ve even seen the leaders of this assault admonished by a federal judge and ordered to wear body cameras. 

I’ve been proud to lead the fight for accountability — even having the police called on me for attempting to inspect an ICE facility.

But the truth is, with Trump and his MAGA cronies in full control of our government, the only way to STOP this insanity will be taking back the Senate in 2026.
