I’m emailing for $5 . Trust me, I have a good reason for doing so:

Right now, there are five Senate races rated as “toss-up” by the highly respected Cook Political Report — and the most likely of those races to flip is our race against Cory Gardner in Colorado.

Democrats simply do not have any reasonable chance of flipping the Senate unless we win this election. So, we’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $75,000 before Wednesday’s mid-month deadline, and we won’t hit it unless a whole lot of people chip in this week.

That’s why I’m personally asking:

Will you donate $5 — one for each toss-up Senate race — to our campaign before Wednesday’s deadline? I am counting on supporters like you to step up and help us flip this seat:

All I’m asking is for a few folks on our supporter list to give up a cup of coffee or two to help us take back our government from Mitch McConnell and Cory Gardner.
