Last night in Pennsylvania and across the country, folks came together to reject the chaos, higher prices, and attacks on our fundamental freedoms coming from Washington — and choose a better path forward.

But last night was only the beginning, John. We will only succeed if we build on the momentum from last night’s victories — and that starts with defending all our hard-fought progress here in Pennsylvania. If that’s a mission you’re on board with, will you pitch in today and help us keep up the fight here in the nation’s most competitive state?

Let me be clear, John: we sent a powerful message last night all across the country and in every corner of Pennsylvania.

We sent it in Luzerne County, where Democrats flipped four seats to regain control of the County Council.

We sent it in Bucks County, where Democrats swept all five contested row offices.

We sent it in Erie County, where voters elected a Democrat and flipped the County Executive’s Office.

We sent it throughout our Commonwealth, where voters resoundingly chose to retain three Supreme Court justices who have been steadfast in their support for our freedoms and the rule of law.

In a moment where our fundamental freedoms are under attack, it couldn’t be more clear:

Pennsylvanians are rejecting the chaos. We’re rejecting the extremism. And here in the birthplace of democracy — we’re choosing freedom and a path to get stuff done.

But make no mistake: the extremists are not packing it up and going home. An even tougher test awaits us next year, and they’re going to throw everything they’ve got at undoing the progress we’ve made here in Pennsylvania.
