Across the country, voters showed up and made their voices heard. They said loud and clear: enough is enough. People are tired of this chaos, the shutdowns, the rising costs, and the endless attacks on our democracy.

And they proved it at the ballot box.

Democrats overperformed across the country because people are ready for leaders who actually get things done — who put communities first and stand up for the rule of law.

It’s a big moment for us. But we can’t slow down now.

The same Republicans who created this mess aren’t taking responsibility — they’re deflecting blame and doubling down on the same reckless politics that got us here.

From their so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that handed out massive tax breaks to the wealthy, to the government shutdown that hurt working families, to their constant attacks on our freedoms — Republicans are showing us exactly what’s at stake.

Here in New Mexico’s 2nd District, we know this fight won’t be easy. NM-02 will be one of the most competitive races in the country, and it could determine who holds the majority in Congress.

But we’ve proven before that when we organize and show up, we can win.
