Hi John,
I come to you today full of hope and momentum after yesterday's election results. In local races across Texas — including our endorsed race in Cy-Fair ISD — pro-truth, pro-public education candidates won big.
More on the election later this week, I promise. But today, we need your support on another key fight. The State Board of Education (SBOE) recently appointed David Barton, a hyper-partisan, phony "historian" with no formal training, and two other people with troubling conflicts of interest, David Randall and Jordan Adams, as content advisors to help with the overhaul of the social studies standards between now and June 2026. These standards will guide what students learn in their history, government, and other social studies classrooms over the next decade.

The appointments of these controversial figures to the advisory board suggest an effort to push a political agenda, not give students the education they deserve. We've had enough. It's time to fight to teach the truth! |
