From New Jersey and Virginia to Pennsylvania and California, to Georgia and Maine, American voters just delivered a reckoning to Donald Trump — and a resurgence for Democrats.

New Jersey elected Mikie Sherrill. Virginia elected Abigail Spanberger. New York City elected Zohran Mamdani. Pennsylvania protected its Supreme Court from right-wing billionaires. Albany, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh elected Democratic mayors. Georgia elected its first non-federal statewide Democratic officials in nearly 20 years. California passed the Election Rigging Response Act.

Our Democratic candidates, no matter where they are, no matter how they fit into our big-tent Party, are meeting voters at the kitchen table, not the gilded ballroom.

Now, it’s up to us to keep this momentum going into the midterms. If you can, pitch in to the DNC now to help us elect more candidates like these all over the country.

We all remember what Donald Trump promised. He promised to lower costs on Day One. He promised to make the economy work for all of us. He promised to break the system.

But Donald Trump is the system. And the only thing he’s managed to break is the economy.

Today, costs are higher than ever. Health insurance premiums are set to double for millions of Americans next year. Groceries are out of control. Utility bills have skyrocketed. The list goes on.

Last night, voters sent a message: We see Democrats meeting us where we are, and we see Democrats fighting for us.

One year from now, in the midterms, our ability to stop Trump in his tracks runs directly through the Democratic Party.

Between now and next November, the job of this Party — my job — is to show voters exactly what we stand for.

With your help, we’ll do exactly that. Anything you can chip in today will help us lay the groundwork we’ll need to win next year’s midterms.
