Last night was incredible, John. We won! Dr. Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard Just Flipped Two Public Service Commission Seats BLUE! John, Dr. Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard just flipped two Public Service Commission seats BLUE! After three decades of Republican control and skyrocketing power bills, Georgians said enough is enough and voted to put people ahead of corporate profits. And it’s not just Georgia — there were big Democratic wins up and down the ballot nationwide. Americans showed up to the polls fed up with rising grocery prices, the widening wealth gap, and blatant corruption of the Republican party.
So John, I hope you take a moment to celebrate our hard-won victories, because tomorrow we’ve got to get back to work. We’re carrying this momentum forward to elect and re-elect strong Democrats at every level of the ticket, and we have our work cut out for us. The 2026 Senate race in Georgia will be the most important race of the year, and our democracy is on the line. It’s up to us to stop Donald Trump and Project 2025’s dangerous agenda. We do that by defending Georgia’s blue Senate seat and taking back the Democratic Senate majority.
