California voters officially voted to pass Proposition 50.
This sends a resounding message to Republicans in Texas and nationwide who are engaging in extreme partisan gerrymandering: we will
not stay silent.
California has now democratically leveled the playing field for next year’s midterm elections and defended millions of voters from being erased by the GOP’s petty partisan games.
The passage of Prop 50 also marks an unprecedented change in the fight to keep CA-27 blue: Thousands of new voters will be folded into this district, and with multiple Republican challengers already in the race, we need to act fast to reach them.
With just about a year to defend this seat, we’re rapidly increasing our voter outreach efforts. Only a few races will make or break the House majority, and we need to start now.
