Yesterday, millions of Americans made their voices heard. Together, we achieved a momentous milestone towards building a democracy that reflects our nation's diversity and strength and our endorsed candidates scored historic wins.
We're thrilled to congratulate our endorsed champions like Zohran Mamdani and Ghazala Hashmi, who decisively won their races. Their victories are not just personal achievements, but historic milestones for representation and civic engagement. Mamdani will be the city’s first South Asian American and Muslim mayor, and Hashmi is the first South Asian and Muslim woman to win a statewide race anywhere in the country.
In total, 30 of our candidates won their races. Each victory is a testament to what we can achieve when we unite around shared values of equity, inclusion, and opportunity.
