John, it was a CLEAN SWEEP for EMILYs List women last night.

That's right — out of 20 Democratic pro-choice women we endorsed in November's elections, 18 won outright, and two advanced to runoffs.

Last night's results prove that Democratic pro-choice women are at the center of the fight to take back power:

- EMILYs List women secured a Democratic trifecta in Virginia — with Abigail Spanberger as governor, Ghazala Hashmi as lieutenant governor, and our TEN House of Delegates candidates flipping Republican seats.

- Mikie Sherrill won a hard-fought race to become New Jersey's next governor, defeat her MAGA Republican opponent, and address the challenges facing her community.

- Justice Christine Donohue retained her seat on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court — helping to hold the court's progressive majority for years to come.

- Amanda Edwards is advancing to a runoff in the special election for Texas' 18th Congressional District. She's on track to secure a critical blue seat in our fight to take back the U.S. House.

- And in cities across the country, voters elected Democratic pro-choice women mayors to lead their cities forward.

These women are powerful models of what it looks like to run and win in tough races, and we're proud to stand by them.

Our 2025 victories give us a blueprint for our fight to take back power in 2026 and beyond, and we're already knee-deep in recruiting and preparing the women best equipped to battle out those wins.
