Friend,
Last night, Democrats made history.
Abigail Spanberger became the first woman ever elected Governor of Virginia — and Mikie Sherrill became the Governor-elect of New Jersey! I could not be prouder of them both. They embody what public service should look like: mission first, people first, results first.
These victories are a reminder of what’s possible when we elevate leaders who have served our country and know how to do the hard work to deliver for their communities. I was proud to be among the first to endorse Abigail and Mikie in 2018, and to work alongside them in Congress in the years that followed.
And here’s the part most people don’t realize:
Democrats don’t win these races by accident. They win because we do the work to find incredible public servants early — and help them break through.
That’s been my work through Serve America for years. We’ve helped flip more than two dozen seats from red to blue, and we’ve helped elect leaders who deliver for their communities every single day.
This is exactly why I’m running for the United States Senate.
Massachusetts — and America — deserve leaders who show up, solve real problems, and build a bench of Democrats who can win tough races and make real progress.
But I can’t do this alone. And the first 30 days of this race will set the tone of this primary.
Will you make a contribution today to support this new generation of leadership — here in Massachusetts and across the country?
Thanks for being in this fight,
Seth
