Proposition 50 has passed in California. Voters made a statement to defend our democracy and keep our elections free and fair.
California will redraw its Congressional maps to fight back against extreme GOP gerrymandering in states like Texas. Republicans want to rig the game to keep the MAGA agenda in power -- even if it means silencing millions of voters nationwide.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that Prop 50 changes
everything in our race. Thousands of new voters will be added to California’s 45th District.
It’s going to take an all-out push to hold this seat, and while many Democratic-held seats are becoming safer,
the Los Angeles Times lists CA-45 as one of a few districts that remain within reach of the GOP.
I flipped this seat in 2024 by a razor-thin margin. 653 votes separated me and my far-right opponent. Now, we need to act fast to reach thousands of voters who may have never heard of me, my story, or my vision for Southern California.
