John,
Yesterday, Democrats showed up in huge numbers and made their voices heard, winning big across South Florida and the country. Here in Miami, a Democrat got the most votes for Mayor.
Some pundits might be surprised at last night’s election results here in Miami. But I'm not!
I know that Florida isn’t a permanently “red” state. This district was held by a Democrat less than five years ago. Trump and Biden virtually tied in FL-27 in 2020.
I’ve seen the momentum and energy from voters ready for a change first hand at our packed Town Hall in Coconut Grove. I know that we can flip FL-27 back to blue!

Last night's results prove that Miami residents are fed up with the same old story from Republicans like Maria Salazar.
And it’s no wonder: the government is still shut down. Air Traffic Controllers, TSA Agents, Social Security Administrators and more aren’t being paid and now people are losing access to SNAP food assistance. And the costs of housing, childcare, insurance, and groceries keep rising, while small businesses like mine continue to suffer from tariffs.
Meanwhile, Salazar hasn’t been to work in weeks.
The tide is with us right now, John, but we can’t get complacent. We need to keep working hard to get our message out and to reach voters. Click here to make a contribution now >> [[link removed]]
Let’s get after it!
