The Department of Family and Protective Services is accepting applications for the Partners for Children and Families Committee (PCFC). The DFPS Commissioner will appoint members to PCFC to serve a term expiring May 1, 2030.
DFPS is also looking for stakeholders to serve on one of the six PCFC subcommittees with terms to expire August 1, 2030:
* Community Based Care

* Foster Care and Kinship Policy
* Intake and Investigations
* Services and Support
DFPS is seeking Texans with the following qualifications:
* Members must have demonstrated a commitment to the children, youth, and families of Texas and have knowledge of and experience with the Texas foster care system.
* Members should attend and participate in meetings.
* Members may be removed for excessive absences as determined by Committee consensus.
