The results are clear. Candidates who stood up for women’s rights, education, and freedom won. From New York to Virginia to Ohio, voters stood for bodily autonomy, for freedom in our own lives, and for a democracy that listens to the people.
And elections are only one part of the fight for the world we deserve. The work continues as we organize, stay engaged, and hold every elected official accountable to the promises they made.
We won because progressive values lift everyone, even those who may not yet believe in them. These victories show that when people organize and vote for care, truth, and justice, we all win.
It is a hopeful day, a reminder that people still believe in a future grounded in fairness, freedom, and care for one another. Today, we renew our commitment to the global fight for democracy and to standing together against the rise of authoritarianism.
