Indivisibles,
Last night, we helped score a massive victory for our democracy. In New
York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, California, and across the country, voters
turned out at historic levels to say hell no to the regime. From ballot
propositions and school boards to state Supreme Courts and gubernatorial
races, the pro-democracy side is winning -- and beating expectations by
huge margins.
And in Virginia, where we focused most of our electoral efforts this year,
Democrats won a sweeping victory. Virginians elected Abigail Spanberger as
Governor and Ghazala Hashmi as Lieutenant Governor by double digits, and
expanded the Democratic majority in the House of Delegates. We now have a
brand new blue state trifecta that can stand up to Trump in Virginia and
join the nationwide fight to defend our democracy.

Last night’s wins were powered by the grassroots with over a thousand
volunteers joining our phonebanking, doorknocking, and texting efforts,
and dozens of Indivisible groups organizing for months to secure this
outcome. Thanks to their incredible work, we were able to contact more
than a million voters in the lead-up to Election Day. That includes:
☎️ Phonebanks: Over 600 Indivisibles joined our weekly phonebanks and
called over 420,000 Virginia voters -- and more than 40% of our
phonebankers were first time callers!
💬 Texting: We sent more than 550,000 texts to voters throughout Virginia.
📱 Digital Reach: This year, we launched a new social media outreach
campaign partnering with online creators to reach 700,000 people -- many
of whom are young voters who are difficult to reach through traditional
GOTV methods.
🏘️ Canvassers: Through Neighbor2Neighbor, over 460 Indivisible volunteers
in 82 towns and cities connected with 7,300 people across their
communities to get out to vote.
In the lead up to Election Day, we saw some folks question if the energy
we’ve mobilized in the streets from Hands Off! to No Kings would translate
to wave-like energy at the ballot box. Last night’s results, in Virginia
and across the country, prove the answer is yes. But we've got to keep
organizing and growing our movement if we want to save our democracy.
Our next big electoral test will be the 2026 midterms and the work to win
them starts now. Through our election work this year, we’ve already
recruited hundreds of new volunteers who are now trained, experienced, and
prepared to help take back the House next year. And the lessons we’ve
learned from our phonebanks, our texting campaigns, and our canvassing
program will shape and refine our strategies and tactics for the
midterms.
But to win the midterms and secure our strongest check on Trump’s power,
we need to continue organizing year-round. [ [link removed] ]We can’t do this work
without you. Please pitch in to help us grow this movement and power the
grassroots organizing that makes our electoral victories possible.

Last night, we delivered a massive blow to the Trump regime and proved
that our movement is only getting stronger. We’re showing up in the
streets and in the voting booth, and with your help, this movement will
keep growing and winning in 2026.
In solidarity,
