VA Election Results Are in, We Made History!

Dear Emgage Community,

What an incredible night! As the results come in, we’re filled with so much gratitude and pride. We engaged in various activities, from door-to-door outreach and phone calls to early voting, and our community participated in record numbers, making this one of Virginia's most inspiring elections ever. Your energy and dedication powered every single win, and together, we made history.

Ghazala Hashmi’s race for Lieutenant Governor was about so much more than politics; it was about representation, resilience, and breaking barriers. Despite weeks of anti-Muslim attacks and hateful rhetoric, Ghazala never wavered. She led with compassion, integrity, and courage, and now, she’s made history as the first Muslim Lieutenant Governor nationwide. Our community stood with her every step of the way, and tonight, Virginia stood with us.

We’re also thrilled to celebrate Jay Jones’s victory as Virginia’s next Attorney General! Jay has been a champion for justice, transparency, and accountability throughout his career, and his win marks a significant step forward for a fairer and more inclusive Virginia. His leadership and partnership with our community have been unwavering, and we can’t wait to see all that he’ll do.

Our wins don’t stop there! We’re proud to share that every single one of our endorsed Virginia House of Delegates candidates came out victorious! These incredible leaders have shown up for their constituents time and again, and their victories are a testament to the power of people-driven campaigns rooted in service and community.

Finally, a huge thank you to our team of organizers and volunteers who made all of this possible. From countless phone banking sessions to canvassing in neighborhoods across Virginia, your hard work and heart are what fueled these victories. You showed up every day for our candidates and our community, and tonight, your efforts paid off in a big way.

This is what it looks like when our community shows up, stands together, and makes our voices heard. Let’s celebrate these wins and keep building the momentum for everything that comes next.
