Only five percent of California’s original old-growth redwood forests remain.
These towering trees, some over 300 feet tall and more than 2,000 years old,
are nature’s giants and essential allies in the fight against climate change.



But they can’t protect themselves.



Together we can help reconnect redwood forests so wildlife can thrive, carbon
can stay locked away, and future generations can experience the awe of walking
among these ancient trees.



For more than 125 years, Sempervirens Fund has worked to protect and restore
the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains—from Silicon Valley to the
Pacific Ocean. By permanently protecting these forests, and using science-based
restoration, we’re ensuring redwood forests will endure for centuries to come.
