Today’s election is an important moment for our country, and I’m feeling a mix of emotions: excited, hopeful, and a little nervous. There’s so much at stake!
Voters in New Jersey and Virginia will be deciding crucial Governors races that will determine how competitive the 2026 midterms will be, and voters here in California will be weighing in on Prop 50.
While today’s results will shape what happens in the months ahead, it’s also a reminder that our own race here in California’s 9th District is just one year away and it will determine control of Congress.
If we want to stop Donald Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda, we have to win this race, take back the Speaker’s gavel, and make him a lame-duck president. That path runs right through our district.
