Our children having the opportunity to receive a public school education — no matter their abilities or what zip code they were born in — is on the line today.

Our seniors retiring with dignity, with Social Security and Medicare, is on the line today.

Our communities being safe from immigration raids and the National Guard policing our streets is on the line today.

But progress on every one of these critical issues is only possible with fair maps. That’s why, no matter what happens today, we will all wake up tomorrow with a steep task ahead of us: the fight for fairness in our democracy.

That fight will kick into high gear in the coming months ahead of next year’s midterm elections. And we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas in the critical organizing work to make sure voters are heard and fairness prevails.
