Our town hall last week was an informative and powerful gathering. Together with policy experts and organizers, we broke down what the Republican budget means for Black communities across the country.

For months, we've mobilized under the banner “Cut the Greed, Not the People,” rallying our members to make calls, pressure legislators, and travel to D.C. for our first lobby day to oppose these devastating cuts.

Now, despite the budget's passage, our fight continues. Join us for the next national town hall: Cut The Greed Town Hall on Wednesday, November 12.

Deceptively titled the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," Donald Trump's 2025 budget poses a direct threat to our communities by devastating state budgets—forcing cuts to essential healthcare, education, and food assistance for tens of millions to fund massive tax breaks for billionaires and corporations.

This town hall is not just about bad policy. It’s about what we do next.

On November 12th, we will:
- Uncover the real consequences of this deceptive bill.
- Hear from experts breaking down what this means for your community.
- Learn how the fight is shifting to the states and how we can organize to demand that our state legislatures put people first.
