This is just despicable.

There should be no place in Congress for someone so hateful, ignorant, and authoritarian. Someone who is so eager to limit the Constitutionally guaranteed right to vote for all citizens. But this is the kind of racism that the Republican Party has allowed to flourish in its ranks.

Despite what Randy Fine says, America is a country of immigrants from all over the world. It’s a place where hundreds of languages are spoken, and many folks speak more than one. In fact, America never even had an official national language until an executive order by Trump earlier this year.

I’m proud that there is an inspiring generation of new leaders who are running for office across the country to represent America’s vibrant communities and fight for a more affordable future. With voting underway right now in many states and cities, I urge everyone to use your vote to push back against this kind of racist, un-American rhetoric.

If you live in Minneapolis, vote for Omar Fateh

If you live in Saint Paul, vote for Melvin Carter

If you live in New York City, vote for Zohran Mamdani.

If you live in Jersey City, vote for Mussab Ali.

If you live in California, vote for Prop 50 so Democrats have a fighting chance of taking the House majority next year despite the GOP’s rigged maps.

If today is Election Day in your community, go out and vote for progressive candidates and help us send a message that the far-right can and will be defeated.

And if you don’t live in any of those places, or if you just want to help out, make a donation to my campaign and help us continue to build our movement. We are fighting for dignity, safety, and affordability for ALL Americans, no matter what language they speak, where they come from, or who they love.
