Over the weekend, 900,000 Arizonans, including over 367,000 kids, lost food assistance because Donald Trump’s Administration intentionally withheld it.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump and his Republican allies held a Gatsby-themed party at Mar-a-Lago. Their priorities couldn’t be clearer.

Trump gets a $300 million ballroom, bought and paid for by the billionaire class, and congressional Republicans are on vacation, but children, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities will go hungry without the safety net of SNAP benefits.

The impacts of this administration won’t just be devastating for years to come — they’re actively harming our communities right now.

Now is the time for us to come together to fight back and stand up for our most vulnerable. I’m back home in Phoenix right now working with local food banks and community health centers to make sure families have what they need.
