No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies. Election Day A lot is at stake on the ballot today, and conservatives are swimming uphill in every state. A Newsom-ordered radical redistricting plan is on the ballot in California. Recent polls show the redistricting plan getting as much as 60% of the vote. The ultimate plan will be to flip five more congressional House seats to the Democrats. There are, of course, important races for governor in New Jersey and Virginia. There is an attorney general candidate on the ballot in Virginia who imagined murdering the Republican leader of the House and his children. Unbelievably, he could still win today. The mayoral race today in New York City between a Democrat running as an independent and a socialist running as a Democrat. There is a Republican in the race who is highly unlikely to win. But the size of his vote could easily determine who does win. It’s not a great choice for Big Apple voters. It’s either an antisemitic socialist with bizarre views and ties to radical Islamists or the guy who killed “grandma” by sending sick COVID patients into nursing homes. He later resigned in disgrace. He also said that supporters of the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life are not welcome in New York. Minneapolis also has a competitive race for mayor. The left-wing incumbent is being seriously challenged by a Muslim socialist state legislator who is even more radical. More than a dozen candidates are on the ballot, and the city is using ranked-choice voting, which is expected to hurt the incumbent mayor. In Seattle, the leftist incumbent mayor may well lose to a radical socialist. If there are elections in your city or state today, make your voice heard. VOTE! Democrat Divide No matter how the elections turn out tonight, Democrats will not be able to avoid the growing divide in their party. Andrew Cuomo is a liberal Democrat. But he lost his party’s nomination to a Marxist. Hakeem Jeffries, who endorsed Mamdani, thinks his Democrat caucus in the House is the future of his party. Good luck with that. (Here and here.) Nancy Pelosi is expected to formally announce her retirement tonight or tomorrow. She is being challenged in the primary by two serious candidates who are even further left than she is. Rather than risk losing, she opted to spend more time with her precious ice cream. A Massachusetts House Democrat who broke with his party over transgender rights was chased out of the 2026 race by a radical primary challenger. The revolutionary Left is out for blood, and Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries are standing in their way. Election Meddling Bomb threats against polling places in seven different New Jersey counties poured in this morning. As a result, the polling locations were closed at the beginning of the day, when hard-working men and women rushed to vote before going to work. In addition, voting machines went down in three conservative districts in Cumberland County. New Jersey, like many states, has big urban areas that vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Republicans can only win if they have a huge turnout in other areas of the state. That turnout may have been suppressed. The New York City ballot itself appears designed to favor Zohran Mamdani. He is the first candidate listed on the ballot, and he’s listed twice—as the Democrat Party nominee and as the nominee of the Working Families Party of New York, which is a front for the Socialist Party. Curtis Sliwa is also listed twice—as the Republican Party nominee and the nominee for Protect Animals. (Don’t ask.) Both Mamdani and Sliwa, as the major party nominees, are on the top line of mayoral candidates. Andrew Cuomo is not on the top line. He’s listed off to the right on the bottom line of mayoral candidates. Meanwhile, Eric Adams is still on the ballot—and above Cuomo—even though Adams dropped out four weeks ago. And of course, in New York City, no ID is required to vote. Not only that, several people reported that they were ordered to put their IDs away when they tried to present them. Food Fight As I am sure you know, federal money has run out for SNAP benefits, or food stamps. The same leftists in Congress who voted against paying our servicemen and women, our Border Patrol agents, and air traffic controllers during the shutdown went on the warpath demanding that the Trump administration use emergency contingency funds to pay for food stamps. The Agriculture Department said those emergency funds legally can only be used if there is money in its main account. But there is no money there because Democrats shut the government down by refusing to pass the authorization. Two judges who have a habit of ordering President Trump to stop spending on certain things are now ordering the president to spend this emergency money. But the president announced today that the food stamp program is rife with fraud and cannot be fully funded unless Democrats end the shutdown and appropriate the money, which they refused to do. Senate Democrats voted this morning for the 14th time to keep the Schumer Shutdown going. Is Comey Cooked? Fired FBI Director James Comey is currently on trial for lying to Congress. Comey testified under oath that he did not ask or order anyone to leak information to the media. But newly released court filings tell a very different story. Emails and text messages obtained by the Department of Justice show Comey and his friend, Columbia professor Daniel Richman, celebrating their leaks to the New York Times and even coordinating other media leaks. These emails also show that Comey fully expected “president-elect Clinton will be very grateful” for his decisions at the FBI. In addition, FBI Director Kash Patel turned over a handwritten note from Comey that was recently discovered in a safe in a “hidden” secure room at the FBI’s headquarters. This is the same room where five “burn bags” were discovered. Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he knew nothing about Hillary Clinton’s campaign scheme to accuse Donald Trump of colluding with Russia during the 2016 presidential election. Comey’s handwritten note proves that his Senate testimony was a lie and that he knew the entire Russia collusion story was a lie concocted by the Clinton campaign. Yet, he continued to spy on President Trump and his administration and later pushed for his former boss, Robert Mueller, to continue the Russia collusion investigation as a special prosecutor. Importing Hate A string of violent attacks has made headlines in Great Britain over the past week. But the left-wing politicians in charge of the government refuse to connect the dots. A hotel worker was strangled and sexually assaulted. A train conductor was strangled and assaulted. A bystander was stabbed to death inside a bank. A man walking his dog was murdered after being stabbed 14 times. A hotel worker was stabbed 23 times with a screwdriver. Every one of these vicious attacks was committed by an “asylum seeker” or “refugee” from a Muslim nation. Open border policies have swamped Great Britain with a massive wave of illegal aliens and “refugees” from Muslim nations. These interlopers are bringing their anti-Western culture and hatreds with them. Obviously, not all Muslims are radical Islamists, but they provide the cultural foundation for radical Islamism. They come from countries with “honor cultures.” If your honor is violated, violence is an acceptable way of reacting. Women have few, if any rights, and Jews and Christians are despised and discriminated against. Yet the entire British establishment is more worried about stopping a populist conservative from winning the next election than it is about stopping the murders of their own citizens at the hands of Muslim extremists. If America does not wake up, this is our fate. Dick Cheney, R.I.P. Former Vice President Dick Cheney passed away last night. Cheney, of course, was vice president under George W. Bush during the 9/11 era. Following that atrocity, Cheney was intimately involved in making major decisions for our country, most importantly destroying Al Qaeda and hunting down Osama bin Laden. Unfortunately, the decision to go into Afghanistan and try to turn it into a democracy was, in retrospect, a fool’s errand. There is no history of democracy in that country, and our efforts there ended ignobly after Joe Biden’s disastrous retreat. The decision to go into Iraq, which many supported at the time, ended up being a foreign policy and national security disaster for the Middle East and the United States. Iraq was the major geopolitical counterforce against Iran. But when we overthrew the Iraqi government, we paved the way for the current Iraqi regime that is allied with Iran, if not controlled by Iran. The Iraqi conflict in particular, as well as actions in Libya and Syria, resulted in the mass extermination of Christians throughout the Middle East, where so many significant biblical events took place. Dick Cheney was hated by the Left. But, ironically, as time passed, his daughter became loved by the Left. Liz Cheney abandoned the Republican Party. She conspired with the Democrats to create a kangaroo court to attempt to make a 4-hour riot on January 6, 2021, the worst thing that happened in America since the Civil War. Dick Cheney, sadly, went down the same road. He went well beyond simply defending his daughter. He repeatedly said how proud he was that Liz Cheney stood up to Donald Trump. Last year, he actually publicly endorsed Kamala Harris, saying, “There has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump.” Over the years, I interacted with Dick Cheney often. His wife, Lynne, led the National Endowment for the Humanities and was one of the early voices calling for the restoration of patriotic education in our schools. She was deeply concerned about arts and education in general turning away from America. Dick Cheney dead at 84. R.I.P.
