There’s never a dull moment on the campaign trail
John,
Abdul recently traveled to the U.P. as part of our campaign’s town hall tour, and this movement showed up!
Here’s the *official* tally:
We met 300+ yoopers…

Ate 6 whitefish…

And even saved 1 lost dog!

As you can see, there’s never a dull moment on the campaign trail.
Already, we’ve visited 60 cities across the state. From Houghton to Kalamazoo to Detroit, folks share the same hope: A government that truly fights for working people.
At our U.P. town hall, that hope was alive.
It’s a part of Michigan that too many politicians overlook — small towns spread across miles of beautiful land, full of people who work hard and look out for one another. But they deserve leaders who look out for them, too.
Yoopers told Abdul it felt refreshing to hear from a campaign that actually wants to get corporate money out of politics and put power back in the hands of working people.
They were excited to hear him talk about Medicare for All and building an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
This is what sets our campaign apart. Abdul is the only candidate in this race who has never taken a dime from corporate PACs, and the only one who supports Medicare for All.
We’re already gearing up for more events, but to keep Abdul on the road and make sure every voter hears our message, we need your help. Will you pitch in $10 or whatever you can today to help fuel our campaign?

Grassroots support is what keeps this campaign moving. Let’s keep the wheels turning.
Thank you,
Team Abdul
