Giving Tuesday: $23 Makes a Lasting Difference
We're excited to announce our Giving Tuesday focus for 2025: Bibles and hymnals for Mozambicans. In many churches across Mozambique, United Methodists gather to worship without access to hymnals or Bibles for the congregation. Leaders in Mozambique named supplying these materials as a top priority for continued faith development and evangelism. A $23 donation provides one Bible and hymnal. Virtual Discernment Conversation - Nov. 11
What does your next faithful step look like? On Nov. 11, we’re hosting a virtual discernment conversation centered around two reflection prompts. The session will last about 60 minutes, and you’ll be invited to ask or answer clarifying questions to help one another reflect more deeply on where God might be leading. There’s no pressure to speak — you are welcome to simply listen and observe. Learn more and RSVP at www.moumethodist.org/discernment-conversations.
Just Energy for All Grants
United Women in Faith groups are leading impactful climate justice work across the country. To support that work and to advance a just energy transition, we have made funding available through our annual seed grant effort. The support from seed grants is available to fund a wide range of projects, including the installation of renewable energy technology, advocacy and educational campaigns, training community groups, and participation in events. UWFaith invites applications from UWFaith-led initiatives and local environmental justice groups by November 10. They strongly encourage applications from coalitions and partnerships between UWFaith and EJ groups. The application website is https://uwfaith.org/blog/2025/just-energy-for-all-seed-funding-application/.
