Friends,
Thanks to your generosity this month, we reached our fundraising goal — and
your support makes it possible for me to stand up for the people of Alabama every day.
Earlier this week, I had the honor of providing lunch for nearly 200 federal employees at Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport — including air traffic controllers, TSA agents, and Customs & Border Protection personnel — who continue to serve without pay during the ongoing government shutdown. These dedicated workers keep our airports safe and our skies open, and it was important to show them our gratitude in a meaningful way.
Your support especially means a lot during these difficult times for working families across our district and the federal workers without pay right now. We understand the financial hardships people in Alabama and across the country are facing right now, and we couldn’t be more grateful for financial support in light of these circumstances.
Your contributions empower us to take action for working families, speak out against unfair policies pushed by the Trump administration, and make sure our communities are supported when they need it most.
It’s because of you that we can stand with federal workers, fight for local priorities, and keep moving forward on the issues that matter in Alabama’s 7th District.
Thank you for being a vital part of this team. Together, we’re making a difference.
With gratitude,
Terri Sewell
