Congress might be in recess, but that doesn’t mean Ro’s taking a break. Just yesterday, he held a town hall back home to talk about the issues that are important to folks: Medicare for All, powerful action on climate change, holding major corporations accountable, new jobs, and more.

This is the type of stuff Ro loves. Meeting with constituents, talking to community leaders, and working through solutions with experts. It’s by far his favorite part about being a congressman.

That’s why I’m sending you this email today. We’re about five days away from our end-of-month goal, and we’re fairly short — $12,780 away, to be exact. But Ro’s doing so well with these community events, I really just don’t have the heart to pull him away for fundraising calls.

So can you help me out, donate $3 to this people-powered campaign, and help keep Ro on the reelection campaign trail? Most people are giving just $17, because this is a grassroots-first campaign.

Ro rejects 100% of corporate PAC donations. The vast majority of other campaigns out there don’t. That’s why a lot of the time, they don’t have to send you emails like this one, because massive corporations pay their way to reelection.

We’re adamantly opposed to that way of doing things. We want to be a model for every other member of Congress — to show them that they don’t need to take corporate PAC money to make ends meet.

And that’s all because of people just like you. Thanks for all that you do, and thanks for stepping up today.

In solidarity,

Cooper
