Our Revolution California led the charge to make sure progressives have a
voice at the Democratic National Convention. Because of their organizing,
Bernie 2020 Co-Chair Ro Khanna and US Rep. Barbara Lee will lead the
powerful California delegation instead of the governor.

At last week’s [ [link removed] ]California State Organizing Meeting, Rep. Khanna pledged
to uphold the progressive values that the delegates who elected him
espouse. “We are going to push for as progressive a platform as we can
get.”

The Democratic party must lead the way on bold climate solutions. That’s
why we’re asking you to call on the DNC to adopt the platform
recommendations of the DNC’s own Environment and Climate Crisis Council.
“This is good policy, and it’s good politics — voters want elected
officials to take more action,” said Michele Deatrick, leader of Our
Revolution Michigan and chair of the council.

Our Revolution’s New York [ [link removed] ]State Organizing Meeting featured Mondaire
Jones, who is on track to win his primary for New York’s CD-17 (Rockland &
Westchester), and Dana Balter, who won her primary to represent New York’s
CD-24 (Syracuse). “Our victories prove that progressives can win by
championing Medicare for All and bold progressive ideas,” said Jones.

Bush — a pastor, nurse, and single mom running for Congress against a
20-year incumbent in Missouri's 1st district. Speaking to us LIVE from a
protest, Cori said, “I’m always going to have my feet on the ground, with
the people, and that’s the heart that needs to be in Congress.“ Help Our

This week, Our Revolution HQ announced the endorsement of John Avalos for
the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. John served on the board before
and championed progressive policies such as affordable housing and public
banking.

José Garza, candidate for D.A. in Travis County (Austin), Texas, spoke
about the urgent need to fight systemic racism in the criminal justice
system on last week’s [ [link removed] ]Monday Night Organize to Win Leaders' Call. “Even
here in Travis County, one of the most progressive parts of the state,
Blacks make up 9% of our population but 25% of our incarcerated.” José won
his March primary and advances to the runoff this Tuesday.

After helping Jamaal Bowman defeat Eliot Engel in New York, we are going
all-in to help civil rights attorney Mike Siegel beat faux-progressive
Pritesh Gandhi in Tuesday’s runoff in Texas.

This week, U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) joined hundreds of students for the
official launch of Our Revolution: Our Time, the campus organizing arm of
our movement. Over 50 Students for Bernie 2020 campus groups joined
together to host the kickoff because as one college student said — “This
is our time to pick-up the torch that Bernie carried and create our
future!”

reform proposal after the custody death of Eric Lurry and other instances
of abuse by law enforcement.

Chuck Jones, the former union leader who called-out Trump for lying about
saving Carrier jobs, spoke at our [ [link removed] ]Indiana State Organizing Meeting.
“Democratic Party needs to fight for working class voters and help them
understand that Trump sold them a ‘bag of shit’,” Jones said. “Democrats
