John – Today is Election Day! There are elections for county board and other local positions happening across the state today.
If you haven’t voted yet, time is running out! While these races are smaller, that doesn’t make them any less important.
For example, your county board makes decisions on local laws, approves the budget, enacts ordinances on public health, land use, zoning and so much more. Your school board helps decide what books are in the school libraries and what subject matter is being taught. You may not hear a lot about your county school board or county commissioner, but they have a major effect on your day to day life.
When we embolden and elect MAGA people to these positions, they can do a LOT of damage.
