Dear friend,

Governor Andy Beshear dressed up as Mr. Rogers for Halloween last week and honestly, it couldn't be more fitting.

You can watch his Mr. Rogers skit from his Team Kentucky update here.

Mr. Rogers taught us to be good neighbors. To look for the helpers. To show up for each other when times get hard. That's exactly what Andy has been doing while Republicans create crisis after crisis for Kentucky families.

Right now, Trump is threatening SNAP benefits for thousands of Kentuckians. Federal workers are going without paychecks. Health insurance premiums are skyrocketing. Andy is fighting back, but he can't do it alone.

Being a good neighbor means showing up. It means building the kind of community where we take care of each other, especially when Republicans aren’t.

If you believe in that kind of Kentucky, the kind Mr. Rogers would be proud of, consider becoming a monthly neighbor at whatever amount feels right for you. Because in Kentucky, we show up for each other.

Thank you,

Kentucky Democratic Party
