Health care costs shouldn’t depend on which party holds power. But this
year, millions of Americans are learning their premiums are going up – not
by accident, but by choice.

Republican lawmakers chose to let key tax credits expire, and now families
and small businesses are paying the price.

Last week Pete put out a call on his social media, and we heard from
thousands of people who shared what these higher costs mean for them –
small business owners watching their premiums double, families wondering
if they’ll have to go without coverage and just hope nothing goes wrong,
people who did everything right but are still being priced out of basic
care.

These stories are heartbreaking and infuriating. But it doesn’t have to be
