November 2025

Hello Educators,

We’re thrilled to share that No Place for Hate(R) is off to a great start this school year with over 2,000 registered schools joining our growing community. As we celebrate 26 incredible years of building stronger communities centered in respect at K-12 campuses across the country, I am excited to share some meaningful updates we have made this year to better support our schools.

This student-led framework is designed to positively impact school culture and climate by providing tools and resources that help schools address antisemitism and other forms of bias and bullying.  The program is no cost to registered schools, and we provide onboarding and support for our schools so they can successfully complete the program. Last week, we celebrated our No Place for Hate schools with an inspiring kick-off event featuring author Dana Kramaroff and her novel in verse, The Do More Club. Her book and the event represented what No Place for Hate is all about – promoting understanding and allyship in school communities. I hope that you will

"Join the Movement" form to learn how you can register to make your school No Place for Hate(R). As one Texas educator noted, "The best thing about No Place for Hate is that it isn't a prescriptive program but a framework that builds awareness and empowers students to take action." I hope you will consider joining us in this work.

COMMEMORATE KRISTALLNACHT

‌

Burning of the Boemestrasse synagogue during Kristallnacht. Frankford, Germany, November 1938.

‌

The Kristallnacht Pogrom, or “the Night of Broken Glass”, was a culmination of antisemitic Nazi policy and a turning point in the antisemitic campaign against the Jewish people. On November 9-10, 1938, mobs throughout Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia freely attacked Jews on the street, in their homes and at their places of work and worship. 100 Jews were murdered and 30,000 arrested and sent to concentration camps. 7,000 Jewish businesses and homes were damaged and 1,400 synagogues were burned. Each year in November, schools and communities commemorate this devastating event through education and programming. Some ideas to consider:

- Set aside class time to teach students about the rise of the Nazi party, anti-Jewish policy in the 1930s and Kristallnacht using

- Attend a

Shalom Starts Here is a framework designed to equip K-12 schools with practical tools to address antisemitism and foster inclusive communities grounded in respect and understanding. To implement the framework, schools select and carry out one schoolwide resource or activity from each of the three pillars — Explore Jewish Identity, Examine Antisemitism and Challenge Antisemitism/Champion Justice.
