Lt. Governor Tressel Statement on Death of Former Vice President Dick Cheney
(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel issued the following statement on the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney:
“Ellen and I join our fellow Ohioans and Americans across the country in mourning the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney.
“Vice President Cheney dedicated his life to public service. Over the course of nearly four decades in Washington, he dutifully served the people of the United States. From Congress to his time as Secretary of Defense to the Vice Presidency, he was a leader who made our nation stronger.
“Ellen and I extend our prayers and condolences to the Cheney family during this time.”
