Please vote for the following Democrats: Moe Bryant for School Board, Takis Karantonis for County Board, Patrick Hope, Adele McClure, or Alfonso Lopez for Delegate (depending on where you live in Arlington), Jay Jones for Attorney General (Key race--see reasoning below), Ghazala Hashmi for Lieutenant Governor, and Abigail Spanberger for Governor.
Why Jay Jones? Tim Kaine said it well: Jay Jones texts were beyond the pale. However, he has known Jay Jones for 25 years. Based on that relationship he voted for and supports Jay. That captures my thinking for the most part. I would add that I have heard Mr. Miyares speak and he is truly a Trump enabler. Jay apologized and based on my conversations with him I believe him.
The race for Attorney General will be close. Trump has repeatedly said things publicly to incite violence. Vote for Jay to help Governor Spanberger and to hold a party that has walked out on integrity and enabled violent public dialogue repeatedly, accountable.
