Election Day is Here! Vote and Make Your Voice Heard

Assalamualaikum!

Election Day is finally here! Polls will be open from 6 am - 7 pm. If you are in line by 7 pm, stay in line! You will be allowed to vote. Find your polling location here. 

Make sure to bring your ID and have a plan for who you are voting for! We’ve endorsed candidates who have proven themselves as allies to our community and share our values of justice and equity for all Virginians.

Today, we can make history and elect Ghazala Hashmi to become the first Muslim Lieutenant Governor in American history. As Islamophobia rises across the country and against Muslims running for office, including Ghazala Hashmi (see here), let’s show up, get our sister and the rest of our endorsed candidates elected, and make the statement that anti-Muslim hate has no place in Virginia.
