CATS Offers Free Rides for Voters TODAY

The Charlotte Area Transit System will offer fare-free rides on all services on Election Day – TUES., Nov. 4th in Mecklenburg County to help voters reach polling locations across the region.

All CATS bus and rail services will be available at no cost to riders traveling to vote. Riders are encouraged to use the CATS-Pass app to plan routes and track vehicles in real time, though purchasing a ticket will not be required.

Voters can locate their assigned polling places through the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections website here. For assistance, riders can contact CATS Customer Service at 704-336-7433.

One exception applies to the fare-free service: riders parking at the MAA LoSo Parking Garage, located at 3750 South Blvd., must pay parking fees unless they have an eligible CATS pass for validation. Round-trip and one-way fares cannot be used for parking validation at the park-and-ride facility.

I am honored to serve as your At-Large City Councilwoman and humbly ask for your vote for re-election.
