Tomorrow, California has the chance to take a real stand for our democracy by voting YES on Proposition 50.
Prop 50 would let California voters redraw our congressional maps after Texas Republicans, at Donald Trump’s order, gerrymandered five seats away from Democrats. If we pass it, we can cancel out their power grab and make sure voters, not politicians, decide elections. Watch me explain what’s at stake:

Governor Newsom is term-limited, and there is no guarantee our next governor would stand up to Trump with a measure like Prop 50. Remember, a new poll shows a Republican leading this race. We can’t risk losing California’s leadership when the country needs us the most.
I’m running to make sure we look after working Californians and do everything we possibly can to protect our democracy. But consolidating support in this race will take a whole lot of grit. I’ve counted on Porter Supporters like you before, and now I have another important ask.
