Friend–

The COVID-19 pandemic has made two facts very clear: Americans need more reliable access to safe, top-notch medical infrastructure and they need more stable, well-paying job opportunities that can support families through the hard times as well as the good.

Doug Jones has a plan to solve both of these needs in one.

Doug has introduced legislation called the Build Health Care Equipment in America Act that would offer incentives to American businesses to repurpose unused, abandoned factory buildings for the purpose of manufacturing medical equipment here at home.

Doug’s bill would bring back thousands of jobs that have been lost abroad and ensure that American medical equipment is made in accordance with the highest American standards.

But if his plan is going to get through Mitch McConnell and the extremists in the Senate who just want to see Doug fail, he’s going to need to show that it has a broad and vocal display of support that they can’t ignore – that’s where you come in. Add your name to co-sign Doug’s call to bring manufacturing back to America and show Mitch McConnell that we’re all behind Doug:

If you agree with Doug that we should be relying on American workers, not Chinese factories, for our medical manufacturing, sign our petition here >> [[link removed]]

We can do this, together.
