I love that this district is so incredibly diverse and covers so much of Arizona! I will admit it’s tough on the campaign budget to cover fuel costs. We try to find the most efficient and environmentally friendly ways to reach all the areas of AZ-01, but there is no substitute for meeting people where they live and work, and hearing from them in person.

An average tank of gas costs the campaign about $50 and allows me to drive almost 400 miles to visit with the people of this district. You can see how many miles the team and I wrack up as we travel to get the word out, and how many tanks of gas that is!

So, we’ve come up with a plan that we hope you will support called Sponsor a Tank . Here’s where your contribution can take me:

$10 to Tuba City
$20 to Kayenta or Pinetop-Lakeside
$25 to Casa Grande, San Carlos or Window Rock
$37 to Clifton

And $50 would cover a round trip from Flagstaff to most of the locations listed above. This is a simple but effective way to help me reach people.
