Dear John,

We’ve all seen them — the fake delivery notices, bank alerts, and “prize” messages that show up on our phones:

  • “Hello, your FedEx package is waiting for you to set delivery preferences.”
  • “USPS LOTTERY WINNER: Claim your prize NOW.”
  • “[JP Morgan Online]: Your debit card has been locked. Verify your details.”

These aren’t harmless spam texts. They’re a part of coordinated criminal networks - many with ties to the Chinese Communist Party - that steal billions from Americans every year.

I recently shared more about this issue and my work to combat scams in an op-ed for the Washington Examiner.

You can read it here:

I’ve recently introduced the Dismantle Foreign Scam Syndicates Act, to give federal law enforcement new tools to track and shut down these operations.

I also founded and chair the bipartisan Stop Scams Caucus - because protecting Americans from foreign fraud should never be a partisan issue.

This fight is about more than stopping spam - it’s about protecting your family’s financial security and defending our country against foreign criminal networks.

To stay up to date with my work for you in Congress, I invite you to sign up for my newsletter.

Sincerely,
